Leather Repair

VCRS "allclean" are not upholstery repairers although we do have contacts who are. However, for minor damage to pigmented leather only such scratches, scuffs, burns, minor cuts or punctures, we have the skills to repair the damage and re-pigment the piece.

Other leathers which are damaged e.g. aniline dyed, suede and nubuck or faux suede (imitation suede) will almost certainly require panel replacement or recovering by a specialist.

Note that leather will crack if to dry and not re-hydrated with a damp cloth wipe over now and again. Oils and crèmes should not be used.
