Trace & Access

The "trace" part of the "Trace & Access" phrase refers to tracing a plumbing leak and the "access" part of the phrase refers to the removal of the building materials behind which the pipes are hidden or in which they are buried for the purposes of repairing the leak. So, strictly speaking, we only offer the "trace" part of the service as we are not plumbing or heating engineers. However, with our thermal imaging equipment we are able to locate sub-surface plumbing leaks in under-floor heating systems and warm or hot pipe systems. Cold pipes in a cold concrete slab are more difficult if not impossible to locate with a thermal imaging camera in which case pressure loss measurement techniques need to be used which we do not offer.
